One evening as the sun was setting, a friend and I were sitting on the patio of one of the local coffee houses enjoying our coffees. As the sunlight dimmed, the electric lights came on, the old fashioned lantern lights, and the christmas lights strung about. It was a peaceful, atmospheric scene.

I began snapping photos with my phone, looking up at the lights.  The angles in one particular shot caught my interest.  This work sprang from that.
